The summary, in plain language

Stochastic Music Tyrant is made by Hangar Labs LLC. We collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and we run no advertising or trackers. This page is the app-specific summary; the full company policy is at hangarlabsllc.com/privacy.

Your listening stays between you and the music service

The tyrant plays your own Apple Music or Spotify library. Reading your library and controlling playback happens directly between your device and Apple or Spotify. We do not receive or store your listening history.

What our server stores

To keep you signed in across sessions and devices, and to remember your one-time purchase, our server (on Cloudflare) stores a small record keyed to your account:

What stays on your device

These are not uploaded to us. On Spotify, banishing or favoriting a song can optionally mirror to two private playlists in your own account; we change nothing else.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers. We keep only an order record (an identifier, your account identifier or email, and a timestamp). App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by those platforms.

Revoking access & deleting data

You can cut the app off from your library any time at your Apple ID settings or spotify.com/account/apps. To delete your stored record, email us; note that deleting a purchase record may end access you paid for.

Not affiliated

We are an independent app and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Apple or Spotify.
